YOU (can do all of these things as our UGC/Influencer Intern)

Creative Skills and Storytelling

  • Concept Development: Ability to come up with fresh, unique, and fun content ideas that align with our client's target audience and leverage current social media trends.
  • Storytelling: Strong storytelling abilities that captivate the audience from the start. Knowing how to craft a compelling narrative through video, images, or written posts.
  • Humor and trend Integration: Understanding how to blend humor, pop culture references, or viral trends into storytelling to make content more relatable and shareable.

Knowledge of Social Media Platforms and Trends

  • Up-to-Date with social media and trends: A deep knowledge of what's trending on TikTok, Instagram, and other social media platforms. This includes being able to spot emerging trends, viral challenges, and trending hashtags, and adapting them to fit our client's style and audience.
  • Pop Culture Awareness: Being aware of what's happening in the world of pop culture, entertainment, music, memes, and internet culture.

Editing Skills and Software Proficiency

  • Video Editing (CapCut & Other Tools): Familiarity with CapCut and Canva as a primary editing tool is great, but knowledge of other popular video editing software also works. Basic skills in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Photoshop or Illustrator is an asset but not required.
  • Photo and Video Editing: The ability to edit both photos and videos to fit the style of content that resonates with the audience. This could mean adding effects, transitions, and music to make the content pop, or ensuring the visual storytelling aligns with the narrative.

Influencer focus

  • Identify, secure and onboard influencers into our best-in-class ambassador program.
  • Nurture existing influencer relationships through on-going initiatives including sending packages, creating monthly briefs and more

Other

  • Work on sizzle reels and supers
  • Schedule weekly social media posts including editing and caption writing
  • Participate in idea generation - fueled by insights and designed to drive clients' business
  • Support design team with image searches, asset management etc.
  • Assist in developing content calendars
  • Work on APEX/ruckus social platforms building out content
  • Help in building and designing marketing materials including new business decks, reports etc.
  • Administrative support: assist with daily office duties, courier, mailers

THE ASK

  • 1 year of UGC experience
  • Experience with video editing (CapCut & Other Tools), Canva as a primary editing tool, knowledge of other popular video editing software also works. Basic skills in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Photoshop or Illustrator is an asset but not required.
  • Able to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
  • Able to respond quickly and effectively to account team and client inquiries
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • The ability to be flexible, adaptable and wear many hats
  • Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges

COMPENSATION

APEX PR is committed to offering competitive pay for the role and experience that the candidate brings.The salaryrangefor this role is $45,000to $55,000, depending on experience.


Coordinators are required to be in our office at 160 Bloor St East, Toronto, 4 days a week. Wefeel that this model promotes creativity, collaboration and professional development while still giving employees the flexibility of remote work.This is afull timeposition at 40 hours a week but may also require after office hours orweekend attendancedue to eventsor client initiatives.
