What you'll do

As an Operating Model Consultant, you'll work alongside multidisciplinary teams to solve complex business challenges and help HLS clients transform how their organizations operate. You'll contribute to high-profile transformations while developing expertise in health and life sciences operating design and business transformation. Our OpModel Consultants are responsible for:

  • Designing future-state operating models, including organizational structures, governance, capabilities, and ways of working.
  • Analyzing complex business challenges and developing practical recommendations, business cases, and transformation roadmaps.
  • Facilitating stakeholder discussions and workshops, working with clients from operational teams to executive leadership.
  • Assessing organizational capabilities, operating models, and ways of working to identify opportunities for improved performance and transformation.

  • You’ve supported clinical, R&D, medical, regulatory, commercial, or enterprise transformation initiatives within pharmaceutical, biotech, medtech, or healthcare organizations.
  • You possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills. You consistently synthesize complex information into clear recommendations and insights.
  • You’re known to be proactive and have a desire to solve difficult challenges with creativity and structure.
