In this role, you will work alongside a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals in a supportive and dynamic setting. The work structure is Monday to Friday, allowing for consistency in patient attendance and staff collaboration, essential for delivering effective rehabilitation services.

• Direct physical therapy interventions tailored to promote recovery, alleviate pain, and enhance mobility in line with individualized care plans.
• Supervise and guide physical therapy assistants to ensure seamless implementation of the treatment protocols established for each client.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients' functional abilities through diagnostic evaluations which may include tests on muscle strength, nerve reactions, and joint mobility.
• Collaborate with clients and their families to assess home environments, recommending modifications that could aid in enhancing independence and safety.
• Deliver direct physical therapy services in our rehabilitation facility, as well as in clients' residences, based on physician referrals.
• Administer manual therapy and therapeutic exercises, including educating clients on a variety of exercises to optimize recovery.
• Track and document clients’ progress, adjusting therapy programs and communication protocols as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Participate actively in interdisciplinary case conferences, contributing insights and updates regarding client progress and needs.
• Prepare and maintain accurate clinical records including evaluations, care plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries, in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Serve as an accessible resource for the Physical Therapy Assistant teams during client interventions, ensuring guidelines are followed and high-quality care is maintained.
• Continuously update knowledge regarding best practices, regulations, and techniques relevant to orthopedic physical therapy.

Many clients require personalized attention to improve mobility, strength, and overall physical function. • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree, with current licensure to practice in California.
• A minimum of one year of experience in physical therapy, preferably in acute care or home healthcare environments.
• Valid CPR certification, ensuring readiness to respond to emergency situations.
• Strong ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Demonstrated commitment to clinical excellence, integrity, and ethical standards.
• Proficient understanding of federal and state regulations governing physical therapy practices.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation to facilitate client visits.

• Experience working with patients rehabilitating from orthopedic surgeries; specific knowledge in joint replacement or sports injury rehabilitation is a plus.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems for efficient clinical documentation and reporting.
• Prior roles that involved leadership or training of physical therapy assistants or entry-level staff.

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 110,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
