Position Summary
The Pega System Architect designs, develops, and maintains applications using the Pega Platform to support business process automation and case management solutions. This role works closely with architects, analysts, and development teams to build secure and scalable applications that meet mission requirements. The system architect participates in the full software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, and implementation of Pega based systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement applications using the Pega Platform.
  • Implement business process workflows, case management solutions, and user interfaces.
  • Configure Pega components including flows, activities, rules, data models, and integrations.
  • Develop and maintain integrations with external systems using REST, SOAP, APIs, and messaging services.
  • Participate in Agile development activities including sprint planning, development, testing, and deployment.
  • Perform troubleshooting and resolve application defects or performance issues.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation related to system design and implementation.
  • Participate in peer code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards and Pega guardrails.
  • Support system testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance activities.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field from a college or university accredited by a U.S. Department of Education recognized accrediting body, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in software development or enterprise application development.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience developing applications using the Pega Platform.
  • Certified Pega System Architect (CPSA) Note : Pega Certifications will be verified through Pega Academy.
  • Experience implementing case management workflows, business rules, and user interfaces within Pega.
  • Experience designing and executing unit, integration, and system test cases; familiarity with Pega's built-in testing tools.
  • Experience integrating applications using REST, SOAP, APIs, or other web services.
  • Experience working in Agile development environments.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to Obtain and Maintain a TS/SCI Security Clearance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting Department of Defense or federal government programs.
  • Experience with the Constellation UI Framework
  • Experience designing applications utilizing Pega Blueprint
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
  • Knowledge of Java, JavaScript, SQL, or related technologies.
  • Experience working in secure or cleared environments.
  • Familiarity with the Pega Community and Expert Circles (especially the Blueprint & App Design circle)

Overview

OSS is looking to hire New Equipment Trainer for Product Manager Soldier Survivability Equipment. Applicants must have military Airborne, rigger experience. Additionally, these positions assist with New Equipment Fielding, training and logistics accountability of Individual Combat Equipment for DoD units.

Duties and Responsibilities:ย ย 

  • Coordinates and manages all aspects of fielding and training events.ย 
  • Develops System Support Packages (SSP) and conducts fielding.ย 
  • Develops Training Support Packages (TSP) and conducts New Equipmentย 
  • Training (NET)ย 
  • Receives, reviews, and ensures all Units schedules for fielding and training eventsย 
  • are available and correctly reflected in the Unit Master Fielding Scheduleย 
  • Ensures all equipment and items are procured to support fielding and training; monitors due in and due out equipment until all requirements are filled and coordinates with installation points of contacts before and during fielding events to ensure installation provide logistics support requirements (facilities, fielding sites, equipment, tables, chairs, unit detailed personnel, Central Issue Facility (CIF) personnel, etc.) are provided.ย 
  • Interfaces and coordinates with ASAALT, AMC, MACOMs and receiving units for logistics and training requirements.ย 
  • Execute fielding of equipment in accordance with the approved Materiel Fielding Plan (MFP) or Memorandum of Notification (MON).ย ย 

ย Required Qualifications, Certifications, Skills and Experience:ย ย 

  • High School/GED and greater than 14 years of relevant experience.ย ย 
  • Or Associates Degree and greater than 12 years of relevant experience.ย ย 
  • Or Bachelorโ€™s Degree and greater than 5 years of relevant experience.ย 
  • Certified Trainer with a minimum of six months training time.ย ย 

ย Desired Qualifications, Certifications, Skills and Experience:ย ย 

  • Equivalent or experience commensurate with DAWIA Certification Level II for Life Cycle Logistics.ย 
  • Prior jump certifications/ experienceย ย
