Job description

Are you an experienced automotive technician who thrives on variety, precision, and the satisfaction of bringing vehicles back to peak condition? We are growing fast and are looking for a Used Vehicle Technician who knows how to diagnose, repair, and recondition multiple makes and models here at Classic CDJR of Lancaster, SC.
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary: $25 to $32 per flat rate hour (paid semi-monthly) based on experience

Responsibilities:
  • Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership policies
  • Perform thorough inspections, diagnostics, and repairs across domestic and import brands
  • Recondition pre-owned vehicles to meet high retail-ready standards
  • Handle everything from light mechanical work to deeper diagnostic and drivability issues
  • Maintain efficiency and quality in a modern, well-equipped service facility
  • Work closely with service and sales teams to keep the reconditioning process flowing smoothly

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma
  • An ideal candidate will have 2+ years of used vehicle reconditioning experience, ASE certifications, brand certifications, or a combination of all
  • Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance
  • Fast learner
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Team player
  • Computer literate
  • Able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
  • Valid driver's license
