Casing Technician

Location: Lost Creek Project (North of Rawlins, WY)

Position Summary

The Casing Technician supports well installation activities and drilling operations. This position is ideal for candidates looking to gain experience in the field while working alongside experienced team members.

What Youll Do

  • Support drilling operations and well installation activities
  • Deliver casing materials, cementing equipment, and supplies to drill sites
  • Measure casing and assist with well completion tasks
  • Troubleshoot and repair cementing and grouting equipment
  • Ensure adequate water supply for drilling operations
  • Assist with environmental compliance during drilling activities
  • Operate heavy equipment as assigned (e.g., forklifts, water trucks, loaders)
  • Maintain inventory of materials and notify supervisor of needs
  • Document daily activities and support reporting requirements
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures

Tools & Equipment Youll Learn

  • Hand and power tools (drills, saws, grinders)
  • Cementing and grouting equipment
  • Forklifts, water trucks, trailers, and generators
  • Basic vehicle maintenance and safety procedures
  • Heavy equipment such as backhoes and graders

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid drivers license with insurable driving record
  • Experience is a Entry-level friendly: little to no experience required

Work Environment & Physical Requirements
