Job description

The Enrollment Specialist is primarily responsible for conducting electronic fingerprinting functions according to the commercial, state or federal program requirements. This is an entry-level role that introduces the incumbent to various background screening processes, including the operation of various fingerprinting equipment and navigating through specialized computer software databases. This role interfaces with the general public on a daily basis, requiring good customer service and problem solving skills.

Some specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Promptly greet applicants and guests.

- Facilitate applicant progress through the First Contact HR process.

- Perform data entry.

- Conduct fingerprinting for federal and state program, such as TSA pre-check.

- Conduct ink and live-scan FBI Fingerprinting

- Assist with or perform drug-screening process as required.

- Promptly answer all incoming calls and direct to the appropriate area.

- Perform basic maintenance and troubleshoot issues with fingerprinting equipment, including computer hardware and software.

- Verify applicant identity and scan required documents into database system

- Successfully complete required biometric and data capture processes and paperwork on each applicant

- Adhere to all company and departmental employment policies

- Perform administrative duties such as conducting child abuse history clearances and state criminal records research

- Maintain service center waiting area and back room in neat and orderly manner.

General Qualifications

- Customer service experience

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required

- Previous experience processing credentials preferred

- Knowledge of basic business terminology and office procedures

- Above average people skills

- Enjoy working in a team environment

- Minimum one (1) year applicable experience
