WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING HERE AT TEAM RC
The purpose of this recruitment is to fill Maintenance Technician vacancies across the divisions of Public Works. The eligibility list established from this recruitment may be used to fill future vacancies in other divisions. This position may work up to 35 hours per week.

Education and/or Experience:
Ability to read, write, and apply common sense standards in carrying out oral and written instruction. Ability to perform manual labor under extreme weather conditions. Some maintenance experience preferred.
This is an entry-level position, training will be provided for necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Knowledge of methods, common tools and equipment used in public works construction and maintenance work; basic safety precautions and procedures. Ability to perform skilled and unskilled maintenance work; operate and perform routine maintenance and servicing of a variety of power-driven equipment and power tools; understand and follow verbal and written instructions; work safely and efficiently with others; deal tactfully with the public.
Special Requirements:
  • Possession of or ability to obtain an appropriate California driver's license and a satisfactory driving record.
  • Ability to workdays, evenings, and weekends.
  • Physical demands include frequent lifting of objects over 50 lbs., often combined with bending and/or twisting.
