Job description

Job Title: Inside Project Manager (Entry-Level)

Location: In-Office / On-Site Operations

Position Overview

Nalle Custom Homes is seeking an ambitious, tech-forward Inside Project Manager to join our core office team. This is an entry-level role ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals eager to launch a career in high-end residential construction management from the ground up.

Unlike field-based superintendent roles, this position is focused entirely on inside operations, project coordination, digital workflows, and systems support. You will work alongside our leadership team, learning the ins and outs of custom home building, managing internal project pipelines, and leveraging modern tools to streamline operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inside Project Coordination: Manage project documentation, schedule tracking, and internal communications across active and upcoming builds.
  • Selections & Vendor Management: Coordinate selection details, spec sheets, and procurement workflows for speculative and custom projects.
  • Tech & Process Optimization: Help implement and manage digital tools, organization platforms, and AI-driven workflows to streamline office operations.
  • Operational Support: Assist leadership with day-to-day administrative tracking, sub-contractor scheduling support, and client updates.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business, Communications, Interior Design, or a related field (Recent graduates strongly encouraged to apply!).
  • Tech-Savvy Mindset: High comfort level with digital productivity tools; curiosity or hands-on experience using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, automated workflow tools) to increase productivity is a major plus.
  • Organization & Detail: Exceptional organizational skills, multitasking ability, and strong written/verbal communication.
  • Eagerness to Learn: A high-energy, solution-oriented mindset with a desire to build a career in residential homebuilding.

Preferred / Bonus Skills

  • Familiarity with Microsoft SharePoint, office management platforms, or project scheduling software.
  • Interest or coursework in residential architecture, interior design, or homebuilding concepts.
