Position Overview

As a Construction Field Manager, you will oversee the scheduling, coordination, and execution of construction projects across multiple job sites throughout the Baltimore region. You will work closely with field crews, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and to company quality standards.

This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership abilities, construction coordination experience, and excellent communication skills.


Key ResponsibilitiesProject Planning & Scheduling
  • Coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, and job-site resources
  • Schedule and manage project timelines from start to completion
  • Monitor project progress and ensure deadlines are met
  • Help maintain project budgets and production efficiency
Field Supervision & Team Leadership
  • Manage subcontractors, field crews, and daily site operations
  • Assign responsibilities and monitor work performance
  • Provide leadership, support, and problem-solving on job sites
  • Maintain productive working relationships with crews and clients
Quality Control & Safety
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure quality workmanship
  • Ensure projects meet company and customer expectations
  • Enforce safety standards and job-site compliance
  • Identify and resolve issues quickly and professionally
Communication & Coordination
  • Communicate effectively with builders, clients, crews, and management
  • Coordinate workflow between multiple projects and trades
  • Maintain organized project updates and documentation
  • Support efficient project execution from start to finish

Qualifications

Required

  • Valid driverโ€™s license with a clean driving record
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities
  • Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds and perform physical job-site duties

Preferred

  • Previous experience in field supervision, construction coordination, or project management
  • Knowledge of construction processes, scheduling, and job-site operations
  • Experience working with subcontractors, vendors, and construction schedules
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
