Job description



Job Summary: Maintenance of all Facilities and Production related equipment.

Essential Functions: 

Entry Level: 

• Basic building and equipment repairs

• Basic rigging

• Move equipment 

• Put spare parts away

• Basic electric and hydraulic symbols

• Basic use of hand tools

• Perform equipment preventive maintenance

• Drive a forklift (internal certification required)

• Clean up oil and refill oil in machines

• Document all work using work order system

• Be able to work all scheduled hours including Holidays, Weekends, etc.

• Be on call as needed and as scheduled

• Occasionally travel by car locally to pick up parts or apparatus to be used in

Maintenance or installation of equipment and facilities

• Job functions may vary depending on location 

• All other duties assigned

Level 1: Will perform all functions of Maintenance Associate (Entry Level) plus the following 

functions

• Use multi-meters

• Change heater bands

• Pull and change screws and tips

• Read electrical schematic

• Read pneumatic schematic

• Read hydraulic schematic

• Change hydraulic valves

• Call suppliers for spare parts and prices

• Identify different types of voltages

• Do basic welding

• Safely/ Properly use Oxygen and Acetylene torch

• Troubleshoot auxiliary equipment

• LOTO authorized user certified

• Be able to work all scheduled hours including Holidays, weekends, etc.

• Be on call as needed when scheduled

• Job functions may vary depending on location 

• All other duties assigned

Level 2: Will perform all functions of Maintenance Associate Level I plus the following functions

• Trouble shoot production related machines

• Read ladder diagrams

• Trouble shoot all types of sensors
