Job description

We are a growing manufacturer in the progressive stamping industry seeking a motivated Tool & Die Machinist to join our team. This is an entry-level opportunity ideal for candidates with foundational machining knowledge, technical training, or hands-on experience looking to build a long-term career in tool and die.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the setup, maintenance, and repair of progressive stamping dies and related components (punches, die sections, strippers, etc.)
  • Operate manual and CNC machines including mills, lathes, and surface grinders
  • Read and interpret blueprints, part drawings, and die layouts
  • Perform precision measurements using micrometers, calipers, and gauges
  • Troubleshoot tooling issues and support production efficiency
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Qualifications:
  • Basic machining experience or trade school training (preferred)
  • Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools (preferred)
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
  • Willingness to learn and grow within tool & die
