Job description

Scope: Part-time AVL Technician supporting worship services and campus events through audio, video, and lighting production.
Schedule: 16-24 hours per week, primarily on Sundays and Wednesdays, with additional hours throughout the week as needed for events and special ministry needs. Schedule may vary based on campus activities and event demands.
  • Responsible for running audio, video, and lighting during various events around campus.
  • Set up, operate, maintain, and assist in repair of equipment used to enhance live events, including projectors, video systems, and audio equipment.
  • Maintain flexibility regarding schedule changes, equipment needs, and event requirements.
  • Interact with various ministries to coordinate AVL support for events.
  • Participate in AVL weekly meetings and contribute ideas for special events and weekly Sunday services.
  • Perform all duties and responsibilities in a manner that glorifies Christ and furthers the mission and ministry purposes of Northwest Bible Church.
  • Other duties as assigned.

This is necessary to accomplish the Church's religious mission, goals, and purpose.
  • Exhibit a growing relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.
  • Exhibit a positive, professional attitude and a willingness to serve with excellence.
  • Ability to work respectfully and collaboratively with others.
  • 1-2 years of experience in video engineering, broadcasting, electronics, media communications, theater sound and lighting, or a related field.
  • Ability to climb, balance, crouch, crawl, stand, and walk for extended periods of time.
  • Strong hand dexterity (typing, equipment handling, etc.).
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
