Seasonal Team Member – Ice Cream Shack of Sunnyland

Location: 2306 Washington Rd, Washington, IL

Position Type: Seasonal | Entry-Level | Part-Time

About Us

Ice Cream Shack of Sunnyland is a locally loved seasonal ice cream shop serving the Washington community. We pride ourselves on fast, friendly service, a high-energy team environment, and creating memorable experiences for our guests. We are looking for dependable, motivated individuals who enjoy working with people and thrive in a fast-paced setting.

What We’re Looking For

·         Our ideal candidate is:

·         Self-driven and takes initiative

·         Punctual and dependable

·         Positive, energetic, and team-oriented

·         Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

Schedule & Requirements

·         Must be at least 16 years old at time of hire

·         Must be available weekends

·         Must be available at least 3 days per week

·         Willingness to work flexible seasonal hours

Key Responsibilities

·         Greet every customer warmly and professionally

·         Learn and confidently explain menu items and make recommendations

·         Provide attentive, efficient, and friendly service

·         Accurately operate POS systems, registers, and payment terminals

·         Handle cash and perform basic math functions accurately

·         Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas

·         Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines

·         Support team members during busy periods

·         Complete additional duties as assigned

Physical Requirements

·         Ability to stand for extended periods

·         Ability to lift up to 25 lbs unassisted
