Location: St. Louis, Missouri
Type: Full Time
Shift: First Shift; 6:30am - 3:00pm, Monday - Friday

Position Overview
As an Entry-Level Machine Operator, you will play a key role in supporting production operations by accurately cutting raw materials to specification, ensuring efficiency, quality, and workflow consistency. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about manufacturing, hands-on work, and building foundational skills in a production environment while contributing to a growing organization.
Key Responsibilities
  • Operate band saws, circular saws, and other cutting equipment safely and efficiently
  • Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and specifications to determine cutting requirements
  • Measure and mark materials using tape measures, rulers, and gauges to ensure precision
  • Inspect raw materials and finished cuts to ensure they meet quality standards
  • Load and unload materials into cutting equipment and assist with material handling
  • Perform basic equipment maintenance and report mechanical issues as needed
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Follow all company safety procedures, including proper use of PPE
  • Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet production goals

Qualifications
Required:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic math skills and ability to read a tape measure accurately
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety standards

Preferred:
  • Previous manufacturing, warehouse, or machine operation experience
  • Familiarity with saws or cutting equipment
  • Mechanical aptitude

Physical Requirements
Required:
  • Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform physical tasks typical of a machining environment
