Job description

Savantage Solutions is seeking an Altimate System Project Coordinator (Associate) to join its Altimate technical team supporting a government agency. This is a structured, entry-level role for someone who is energized by organizing complex work, writing clearly, and using AI tools responsibly. The Coordinator runs the program's technical meeting cadence, screens and routes support tickets, maintains the program's knowledge base, and assists the Deputy CTO in building AI-powered search over program documentation. The role is designed as a deliberate learning path toward Oracle APEX development, not a terminal position.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Own the calendar, agendas, and decision record for the technical team's recurring cadence - coverage reviews, gap reviews, sprint ceremonies, and the customer training calendar.
  • Build meeting agendas from the current list of open items and keep a visible, current tracker of decisions, owners, and due dates.
  • Screen escalated support tickets against the program's issue description standard and log them for routing using documented team competency data.
  • Escalate any ticket that cannot be staffed to the Deputy CTO the same business day.
  • Maintain the program's knowledge register: module guides, runbooks, and defect lists, each reviewed and approved by a senior developer before publication.
  • Draft knowledge assets from patterns in resolved tickets, and flag documentation that has gone stale for review.
  • Assist the Deputy CTO in building AI-powered search over program documentation, tickets, and training materials using the Oracle database's AI capability, including data-compliance checks on all content before it is loaded.
  • Use AI-assisted tools to accelerate summarization, research, and first-draft documentation, with every AI-generated output treated as a draft pending senior review.
  • Coordinate customer training sessions: maintain the calendar, track attendance, and collect the required post-session summary from attendees.
  • Prepare a monthly coverage and status report for the Deputy CTO.
  • A bachelor's degree in any field, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
  • 1-3 years of professional or internship experience, including at least one client-facing or end-user-facing role.
  • Demonstrated technical writing ability - a report, thesis, publication, or procedure a stranger could follow without asking the author a question. Writing samples will be requested.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn an unfamiliar system independently and document findings in a structured, organized format.
  • Evidence of sustained follow-through: running a recurring cadence, a client reporting commitment, or a tracked list kept current without prompting.
  • Working use of generative AI tools for summarization, drafting, or research, and a clear understanding of appropriate data-handling limits.
  • Exposure to SQL or basic database concepts sufficient to read a query and understand what it returns.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, comfortable presenting to technical and non-technical audiences alike.
  • Bachelor's degree in any field required; degrees or coursework in business, communications, information systems, or a related field are a plus.
  • U.S. citizenship required; must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance and required system access.
  • Preferred: teaching, tutoring, or teaching-assistant experience.
  • Preferred: exposure to Oracle Database, Oracle APEX, PL/SQL, or vector search / retrieval-augmented generation concepts.
  • Preferred: background or coursework in accounting, finance, or federal financial management.
