Job description

TPG is currently seeking an Entry Level Recruiter for the Apache Junction/Mesa area. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing, qualifying, recruiting, and onboarding individuals in the mining industry.

Salary: $45,000 /yr + Commission

This role is ideal for those with experience and interest in sourcing, recruiting, talent acquisition, sales, management, HR, or other people-related fields that require clear communication and the ability to build strong relationships.

Primary responsibilities for this position include:

  • Building and maintaining close relationships with clients and candidates based on applicable experience, skills, and fit for available opportunities
  • Sourcing activities, including cold calling, networking, and job bank monitoring
  • Scheduling and conducting interviews via phone, video, or in-person
  • Preparing successful candidates for client submittals and interviews
  • Negotiating employment terms including pay rate
  • Processing candidate pre-employment onboarding activities
  • Updating database of candidate and position information and history

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR databases.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment processes and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in using job boards, social media, and other recruitment platforms.
  • Ability to screen, interview, and assess candidates effectively.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively about sourcing and recruiting.
  • Team-oriented attitude with the ability to work collaboratively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
