About the Role

We’re looking for a hands-on, tech-curious, and customer-focused Technician to join our Convention Services team. This is a great entry-level opportunity to start a career in IT and telecom networking while working in a fast-paced, event-driven environment.

You’ll be onsite at events, ensuring clients are connected and supported from setup to teardown. You’ll gain practical experience with network hardware, cable installations, and real-time problem solving—while delivering excellent service to exhibitors and event teams.

What You’ll Do

  • Set up and support internet and telecom connections for exhibitors at trade shows, conferences, and large-scale events
  • Read event floor plans and translate them into real-world network layouts
  • Install, test, and maintain copper and fiber optic cabling, patch panels, and jumpers
  • Troubleshoot on-site issues and provide real-time solutions with confidence and professionalism
  • Stay organized and fully equipped by maintaining and restocking tools and supplies
  • Work closely with internal teams and event staff to ensure flawless execution
