Position Summary
JRP is seeking a versatile and mechanically inclined Maintenance Technician to support fueling equipment, cardlock sites, customer locations, company facilities, and special projects across multiple operational areas.
This is a field-based position that extends well beyond traditional building maintenance. Responsibilities include maintaining fueling equipment, coordinating tank deliveries, installing and servicing tank monitoring systems, performing customer equipment repairs, supporting facility maintenance, and responding to service calls throughout the region.
The ideal candidate is dependable, mechanically skilled, customer-focused, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment. This position requires travel to customer sites, company locations, and fueling facilities, along with participation in an on-call rotation to support emergency service needs.

Compensation Range
Competitive hourly pay: $22-30/hr. based on experience
Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair cardlock fueling equipment, customer fueling systems, and company facilities.
  • Coordinate and execute customer tank deliveries and equipment installations.
  • Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot tank monitoring systems, including SmarTank equipment.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections at cardlock fueling locations.
  • Diagnose and repair fuel pumps, hoses, nozzles, fixtures, and other fueling equipment.
  • Perform general building maintenance, light electrical work, landscaping, and facility repairs.
  • Respond to equipment failures, service calls, petroleum spills, and other emergency situations.
  • Deliver equipment, parts, and materials to customer and company locations as needed.
  • Complete work orders, inspections, service documentation, and maintenance records using company systems.
  • Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, parts, and tank monitoring components.
  • Communicate with customers, vendors, and internal teams to coordinate repairs and project activities.
  • Represent JRP professionally while working at customer sites, fueling facilities, company locations, and other assigned properties.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation to provide emergency support outside of normal business hours.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of one year of maintenance, mechanical, facilities, or related experience required.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills required.
  • Basic electrical knowledge preferred.
  • Entry-level computer skills required.
  • Experience performing equipment repairs, facility maintenance, or fueling equipment maintenance preferred.
  • Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Work Environment
