Job description

We are looking for a Performance Capacity Management Analyst with strong hands-on experience in Datadog and Process/Performance Capacity Management (PCM) to help monitor, analyze, and optimize business and system performance data. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between technical monitoring data and business decision-making, delivering actionable insights through dashboards, reports, and capacity planning.

Key Responsibilities
· Design, build, and maintain Datadog dashboards, monitors, and alerts to track application, infrastructure, and business KPIs.
· Analyze system and business performance data to identify trends, anomalies, and improvement opportunities.
· Apply PCM principles to forecast capacity needs, manage performance baselines, and support scalability planning.
· Translate raw operational/business data into clear insights and recommendations for stakeholders.
· Collaborate with IT Operations, Engineering, and Business teams to define SLAs, SLOs, and KPIs.
· Prepare regular reports (daily/weekly/monthly) on system health, business metrics, and capacity utilization.
· Support root-cause analysis for performance issues using Datadog logs, APM, and traces.
· Recommend process improvements based on data-driven insights.
· Maintain documentation for monitoring standards, PCM processes, and reporting frameworks.

Required Skills & Qualifications
· Hands-on experience with Datadog (dashboards, monitors, APM, log management, alerting).
· Solid understanding of Process/Performance Capacity Management methodologies.
· Strong analytical skills with experience in business data analysis and reporting.
· Proficiency in Excel/SQL; experience with BI tools (Power BI/Tableau) is a plus.
· Familiarity with ITIL / IT Service Management practices (preferred).
· Excellent communication skills to present technical data to non-technical stakeholders.
· Ability to work cross-functionally with Engineering, Operations, and Business teams.

Nice-to-Have
· Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform) monitoring integrations.
· Exposure to capacity forecasting tools or scripting (Python/R) for data analysis.
· Certifications in Datadog, ITIL, or Business Analysis (CBAP/CCBA)
