Job Purpose:

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Parts Counter Representative to be the face of our company. The ideal candidate will not only possess a strong technical understanding of diesel engines but will also embrace and promote our core values in every customer interaction. As a Parts Counter Representative, you play a pivotal role in ensuring our customers receive accurate and timely assistance in obtaining the right parts for their diesel equipment. With a dedication to honoring commitments, creating positive experiences, fostering lifelong learning, exhibiting a pioneering spirit, and demonstrating good stewardship, you will contribute to our mission of providing top-notch service to our customers.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Honor Commitments:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service for our retail parts business by greeting customers, assisting in parts selection, answering questions, providing price quotes, informing customers of companion part requirements and specials in-person and over the phone, and keeping customers informed on the status of special order and back-order parts.

Create Positive Experiences:

  • Greet customers warmly, create a welcoming environment, and handle customer returns with professionalism and courtesy.

Foster Lifelong Learning:

  • Assist mechanics with acquiring parts, locate and secure parts from various vendors for shop jobs, and stay updated on industry trends and new products.

Exhibit Pioneering Spirit:

  • Take initiative to improve processes, enhance customer experiences, and contribute to the overall success of the parts department.

Demonstrate Good Stewardship:

  • Receive, locate, bill, and fulfill orders accurately and efficiently, and help control and maintain inventory to minimize waste and loss.
