Job description

Midwest Hose & Specialty is seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Recruiting Administrator to join our Human Resources team. This full-time position plays a critical role in supporting the recruiting process by ensuring an exceptional experience for candidates and hiring managers from application through onboarding.
The Recruiting Administrator will manage recruiting administration, coordinate interviews, communicate with applicants, maintain applicant tracking systems, assist with onboarding, and ensure recruiting activities are completed efficiently and accurately. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, staying organized, and helping candidates navigate every step of the hiring process.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for applicants throughout the hiring process
  • Communicate with candidates regarding application status, interview scheduling, and onboarding requirements
  • Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers across multiple company locations
  • Manage and maintain applicant information within the Applicant Tracking System, Paycom.
  • Post and update job openings on recruiting platforms and company career pages
  • Assist recruiters and hiring managers with administrative recruiting tasks
  • Prepare offer letters, hiring documents, and onboarding paperwork
  • Coordinate pre-employment requirements including background checks, drug screens, and employment verifications
  • Ensure all candidate records remain accurate, organized, and confidential
  • Monitor recruiting inboxes and respond promptly to candidate inquiries
  • Support recruiting initiatives, hiring events, and other HR projects as needed
  • Maintain professionalism while delivering outstanding customer service to both candidates and internal teams
  • Assist with additional Human Resources administrative responsibilities as assigned
