Plumber 1 is an entry-level position. The ideal plumber should have a basic understanding of plumbing systems and a willingness to learn and grow in the field. A Plumber I, will assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems under the supervision of more experienced plumbers.
Responsibilities
• Assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and fittings.
• Help inspect plumbing systems to identify issues and perform basic repairs.
• Learn to read and interpret blueprints and building specifications for plumbing layouts.
• Support senior plumbers in collaborating with contractors, electricians, and other construction professionals.
• Perform routine maintenance on plumbing systems to prevent future problems.
• Respond to emergency plumbing calls and provide support as needed.
• Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes and regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients.
