ย ย  ย To manage vendors, assist with inventory tracking, and interact with internal departments.ย 
ย ย  ย To review and forecast materials and supply needs for product runs.ย 
ย ย  ย Assist with inventory reporting and analytics.ย 
ย ย  ย Responsible for general purchasing (such as steel & aluminum /sub materials/paints/equipment/MROs) activities and supplier management relating to cost, quality, supplier controls, legal, compliances, and service for HMGMA.

[Major responsibilities]
ย ย  ย Place orders with vendors according to planned manufacturing schedules.
ย ย  ย Research and evaluate various vendors to determine the best price/quality and availability.
ย ย  ย Ensure materials are purchased at best possible price by conducting research and analysis of vendors and costs.
ย ย  ย Prepare, report, and implement Request for Quotation (RFQ) for general purchasing.
ย ย  ย Select, develop, and manage supply base for General Purchasing products and services by:
o Preparing Request for Quotations (RFQ) for user department requirements.
o Negotiating spot purchases and long-term agreements.
o Maintaining competitive pricing.
o Leading yearly cost reduction activities.
o Monitoring supplier quality and delivery performance.
ย ย  ย Formulate and implement yearly commodity and supply base strategy.
ย ย  ย Work closely with suppliers to optimize supplier processes.
