Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Buyer to join our team at a leading manufacturer of material handling equipment. The Buyer will be responsible for sourcing purchased components, equipment, and outside services, as well as managing vendor relationships. The ideal candidate will possess strong negotiation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Source and procure purchased components, equipment, and outside services necessary for manufacturing material handling equipment.
  • Determine quantity and timing of deliveries.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with vendors to ensure cost-effective purchasing.
  • Evaluate supplier performance and maintain strong vendor relationships.
  • Identify alternative sources as required to mitigate supply interruption.
