Job Summary:
The Electric Vibration Assembler is an entry-level path into the technical realm of large/small frame AC electric & hydraulic vibration. This role will assemble via blueprint or work instruction, test, modify, inspect, and repair electric & hydraulic vibratory equipment & accessories. The Electric Vibration Assembler will learn to perform advanced electrical diagnostics & electronically document each individual vibrator's performance characteristics as required. The Assembler will learn to evaluate, estimate, and repair Martin vibrators for warranty claims or repair for a customer as needed. This role is responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work cell, material handling of vibration components, quality conscious, and good communication skills.
Responsibilities & Duties:
  • Assembles, tests, and modifies electric vibratory equipment & accessories. Inspects components & subassemblies during the assembly process to minimize product failure.
  • Assists with testing, evaluating, and repairing returned units. Assists in preparing repair estimates and works with customer service to determine whether repair or replacement of the product is required.
  • Completes outside vendor training on basic bearing knowledge, electrical motor operations & diagnosis.
  • Documents all procedures to ensure measurements are accurate and complies with established standards including ISO, U.L., & ATEX compliance as required. Evaluates problems with returned goods by conducting appropriate testing procedures and processes.
  • Maintains work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations particular to the working conditions. Assists with material handling & proper storage of the vibration motor components.
  • Assists customers & engineering regarding quality issues, technical matters, and trouble shooting.

  • Initiates procedures which comply with OSHA / MSHA requirements regarding safety issues, use of safety equipment, material safety data sheets, etc.
  • Attends Company and industry-related meetings, as required.

  • Participates as a member of the department's team and/or other teams as assigned and contributes in accomplishing the team's goals.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Two-year technical degree preferred. High school degree or equivalent required.
  • One or more years of job related experience with experience reading blue prints and electrical schematics preferred.
  • Proven self-starter who has the desire to learn.
