Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Project Coordinator – Engineering to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional looking to gain hands-on experience in engineering, construction operations, project management, and structural repair.

As a Project Coordinator – Engineering, you'll work alongside our engineering, production, and operations teams to help coordinate structural repair projects from planning through completion. You'll assist with project reviews, repair planning, permitting, scheduling, data management, and process improvement initiatives while gaining exposure to every stage of residential construction operations.


Responsibilities

  • Assist with reviewing construction projects and structural repair recommendations.
  • Coordinate project schedules with production teams and subcontractors.
  • Assist with city permit applications and permit tracking.
  • Maintain accurate project records, documentation, and data entry.
  • Conduct post-job evaluations and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Support coordination between office staff, field personnel, subcontractors, and inspectors.
  • Assist with production scheduling and resource planning.
  • Support research and development initiatives focused on improving products, processes, and operational efficiency.
  • Analyze project data and identify trends to improve workflow and project outcomes.
  • Visit local jobsites as needed to support project coordination and gain field experience.
  • Perform other engineering and operations support tasks as assigned.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (or graduating soon) in one of the following: Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Project Management, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and project management or scheduling software
  • Valid driver's license with the ability to travel to local jobsites as needed.
