Job description

The Staff Engineer is an entry-level structural designer responsible for developing analytical models, performing structural analysis, preparing calculation packages, and reviewing contractor submittals. Staff Engineers work as part of a design team under the supervision of a Project Engineer, Senior Project Engineer, or Associate.

Qualifications

BS in Civil/Structural Engineering

MS and EIT preferred

Individuals should have 0-2 years of increasing engineering experience in structural analysis and design, as well as experience in preparing plans and detail drawings.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills preferred.

Familiarity with Revit and software such as MS Word & Excel, Enercalc, and ETABS or SAP is helpful.

Two weeks (10 days) paid vacation per year, which will be prorated relative to your start date.

Office closure between Christmas and New Yearโ€™s Day (4 additional days of paid time off).

After 6 months of employment, employee is eligible to work from home up to 4 days per month.

After 6 months of employment, employee is eligible to participate in our 401k program with company match.

After 90 days of employment, employee is eligible to use PARADIGM owned condominium at the Everline Resort located in Olympic Valley, California.

Compensation

Salary range for this position is $70k-$90k The pay rate is based on factors such as geographic location, experience, education and skills.
