Position Overview

ServiceMaster by Singer is seeking an experienced Water Mitigation Project Manager to manage water damage restoration projects from initial inspection through completion of structural drying.

This role requires a restoration professional who understands mitigation procedures, documentation requirements, and how to direct technicians while maintaining clear communication with homeowners and insurance representatives.

This is a field-driven role for someone who can manage multiple projects, maintain strong documentation, and ensure work is completed correctly.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect water losses and determine mitigation strategy using IICRC standards
  • Direct technicians and crew chiefs during mitigation projects
  • Monitor drying progress and confirm structural drying completion
  • Maintain complete job documentation including moisture readings, photos, and notes
  • Use tools such as DocuSketch and restoration documentation platforms
  • Communicate with property owners and insurance adjusters
  • Manage multiple mitigation projects simultaneously

Required Qualifications

  • IICRC WRT Certification required
  • Water mitigation / restoration experience
  • Experience directing technicians or mitigation crews
  • Strong documentation habits
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
  • Ability to pass background screening required for technicians entering homes
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
  • Ability to wear respirator when required
  • Ability to work emergency hours when losses occur
