Job description

*We are hosting a Job Fair at our office Tuesday, July 21 at 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

Address: 914 Florida Ave SW, Denham Springs, LA 70726. Please come if you are interested in meeting our team and interviewing for this position. *

This position works under the direct supervision of the Controller and with a team of dedicated professionals to ensure the accuracy of financial records. The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm, with an hour break.

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of accounting experience preferred
  • Ability to communicate exceptionally with all team members in a clear, friendly, professional, and proactive manner.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
  • Attention to detail for organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Computer knowledge; Microsoft Excel proficiency is preferred
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of general business with a practical application to financial results

Responsibilities:

  • Posting transactions such as customer and vendor payments.
  • Clerical duties such as typing, scanning and maintaining files
  • Contribute to the team
  • Follow up on voicemails and emails
  • Heavy data entry
  • Hitting work deadlines efficiently
