We are currently looking for associates to join our production teams to support our variety of customers. Our Goodyear facility manufactures premium optical acrylic sheet which is used primarily in high performance aerospace applications like fighter jet canopies and aircraft windows. Our employees take pride in our superior product performance and quality, which are known and valued around the world.
Job Summary:
This position is an entry-level position within the manufacturing area, primarily responsible for performing weigh-up or packaging duties within the production department. Ensures the highest quality product at the lowest possible cost and meets customer specifications and delivery requirements in accordance with Spartech policies and procedures.
Essential Job Duties:
  • Accomplish the duties of the job utilizing safe work habits and maintaining a safe workplace
  • Must be able to read and understand shop orders
  • Communicate with shift lead
  • Perform cleaning task of equipment and plant
  • Stage items needed for production
  • Record quality control information timely and accurately.
  • Responsible to be productive and complete the assigned production order to completion accurately.
  • Operate forklifts as required.
  • Must be able to work a full schedule workweek and fulfill overtime requirements as needed
  • Receive any additional direction from leads and supervisors

Additional Responsibilities:
  • May be required to train other employees
  • Active participant in Kaizen and lean events
