The Systems Administrator makes an impact by

The System Administrator is responsible for the administration of the infrastructure and networks that support the organization’s key Information Technology (IT) and business applications. This person has a security and test first mindset.

  • Install, configure, harden, and patch Hypervisors and Windows/Linux servers including DC’s and database servers
  • Install, configure, and patch Storage devices of all types
  • Monitor all IT infrastructure for performance and anomalies
  • Configure and manage cloud solutions
  • Configure and administer M365/O365 solutions, including email, SharePoint, security, etc.
  • Configure and administer EDR, MDR, and XDR monitoring and alerting solutions
  • Configure AD, AAD, Group Policies and MDM solutions
  • Load, configure, and manage immutable data backup solutions such as Veeam
  • Administer email filtering tools such as Mimecast
  • Periodically audit the IT/OT infrastructure for potential vulnerabilities
  • Manage and configure Firewalls, Switches, WAPs and VPN as needed
  • Lead our efforts towards ZTNA and SASE
  • Plan and implement the overall IP schema and VLANS segmenting the various networks, locations and management networks
  • Stay up to date on the latest IT/OT CISA alerts
  • Manage the patching process of networking equipment
  • Be the evangelist of IT/OT security, monitoring and alerting (SOC)
  • Manage annual vulnerability and pen testing
  • Manage, document, and test the DR process
  • Perform all duties within established Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and FSMA guidelines as well as all safety regulations
  • Comply with Safe Quality Foods (SQF) food safety and quality standards
  • Perform all other duties as assigned

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with hands on system administration and IT networking with firewalls and switches
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with Hypervisors (VMware and Hyper-V) and Windows/Linux and SQL servers
  • Microsoft, Network and Hypervisor certifications are highly preferred
  • Conforms to regulatory compliance related to electronic information in areas such as HIPAA and Sarbanes-Oxley
  • Demonstrates the ability to engage work in department and cross-functional teams to define and implement process improvements that provide value to the customer
  • Strong attention to detail, effective time managements skills
