A leading global law firm with 800+ attorneys across major financial centers is seeking a Legal Recruiting Assistant to join their team on a contract basis. The firm is known for its collaborative, business-focused approach and works with top asset managers, private equity and venture capital firms, Fortune 500 and FTSE companies, major sports leagues, and entertainment leaders.

Responsibilities
  • Support the upcoming 2L recruiting season, including gathering law school information and preparing interview materials (resumes, evaluation forms, office statistics, etc.)
  • Serve as a liaison for students invited for call-back interviews and coordinate multiple in-office interview schedules daily
  • Track candidate progress, feedback, and updates in applicant tracking systems (viRecruit, Flo Recruit, etc.)
  • Prepare statistical reports and materials for Hiring Committee meetings
  • Draft response letters and maintain candidate records
  • Assist with the Summer Associate Program, including event planning, maintaining RSVP lists, creating name tags, and tracking evaluations
  • Coordinate conference room bookings, schedule trainings, and prepare related materials
  • Provide general administrative support to the recruiting team and assist with projects for the lateral hiring group as needed
Qualifications
  • 0โ€“2 years of relevant experience (legal recruiting or HR support preferred)
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with viRecruit or other applicant tracking systems a plus
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed
