Job description

Seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Administrative Assistant to support daily office operations for a well-established agricultural supplier serving growers and dealers throughout California and beyond. This position is ideal for someone looking to start or grow a career in administration while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

The Administrative Assistant will provide clerical and organizational support to multiple departments, helping ensure smooth business operations and excellent customer service. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, eager to learn, and comfortable working with a variety of administrative tasks.

Responsibilities:

· Answer and direct incoming phone calls professionally.

· Greet visitors and assist customers as needed.

· Perform data entry and maintain accurate records and files.

· Prepare, organize, and distribute documents, reports, and correspondence.

· Assist with order processing, invoicing, and general office paperwork.

· Monitor and manage office supplies and inventory.

· Schedule appointments, meetings, and other administrative activities.

· Support team members with special projects and administrative tasks.

· Maintain organized filing systems, both electronic and paper.

· Provide excellent customer service to customers, vendors, and business partners.

Qualifications:

· Previous office, customer service or administrative experience preferred. (agricultural background is a plus)

· Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

· Strong verbal and written communication skills.

· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

· Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
