Job description

Salary: $20.00-$21.00 Per Hour

TailWind Voice & Data is seeking an entry level Quoting Coordinator to obtain pricing information and generate accurate proposals for telecommunication solutions. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to communicate, to research and obtain pricing information, and be able to compile information to return to clients. The quoting coordinator will work with the sales team, project managers, and provide assistance with order data entry


Essential Functions

  1. Organize and manage all data related to the carrier pre-sales process, including prequalification.
  2. Engage with service providers to establish relationships and obtain competitive price quotes.
  3. Create and develop customer proposals based on the prequalification results.
  4. Administrative assistance with special projects for the operations, sales, finance, and executive teams.
  5. Assist with order data entry for the Carrier team.
  6. Other duties as assigned.


Required Education and Experience

  • Ability to utilize Excel for data entry and compilation of customer requested information.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Teams and Outlook.
  • Ability to utilize the internet to search for relevant information.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to take initiative, complete assigned tasks in a timely manner, and multi-task.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, strong work ethic, confidentiality, and commitment to integrity.
  • Desire and ability to grow with the business.
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week.
  • Experience with telecommunication providers is a plus, but not a requirement.
