PRN Speech Therapist rates are $53.00/hr for weekdays ($55/hr with FEES experience) and $58.00/hr for weekends ($60/hr with FEES experience).
Responsibilities
The Speech Therapist Temp Pool provides diagnostic and rehab services aimed at assisting the patient in regaining an optimal level of communication and/or swallowing ability in order to allow safe, functional participation in activities of daily living. This staff member demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development appropriate to the ages of patients served within our department. This staff member must evidence the ability to apply these principles in assessing and interpreting patient information and planning and implementing individualized care based upon the age-related needs of the patient and family.
Requirements
  • Masters in Speech/Language Pathology
  • Must possess adequate professional affiliation requirements for entry level of employment. Prefer 1+ years experience in acute care or medical setting.
  • Valid Maryland license to practice speech/language pathology. Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year.
