Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and motivated Clinical Fellow in Speech-Language Pathology (CFY) to join our team. The CFY will work under the supervision of a licensed speech-language pathologist to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to clients with communication disorders.
Responsibilities:
ย ย ย ย ย ย Conduct diagnostic evaluations to assess clients' speech, language, cognitive-communication, using standardized assessments, clinical observations, and case history interviews.
ย ย ย ย ย ย Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, client goals, and evidence-based practice guidelines, targeting areas of need such as articulation, language, fluency, voice, and pragmatics.
ย ย ย ย ย ย Document assessment results, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries in accordance with regulatory and professional standards.
ย ย ย ย ย ย Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
ย ย ย ย ย ย Eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) as determined by the
ย ย ย ย ย ย Knowledge of principles and practices of speech-language pathology assessment and intervention across the lifespan.
ย ย ย ย ย ย Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
ย ย ย ย ย ย Compassion, empathy, and professionalism in working with individuals with communication disorders.
ย ย ย ย ย ย Commitment to upholding ethical standards, maintaining client confidentiality, and promoting a positive and inclusive environment.
