Software Test Engineer
As our Software Development Engineer in the Hospital Patient Monitoring Team, and you will be working in an Agile environment responsible for software for our new Real-time Patient Monitoring platform.
Your role:
  • Identify manual processes and inefficiencies and improve them through automation.
  • Implement test automation using Behavioral Driven Development (BDD), experience in converting functional requirements into Gherkin scenarios.
  • Develop functional test suites and test documentation / concepts.
  • Translate user requirements into innovative solutions using the latest technology.
  • Review code and provide technical feedback and direction.
  • Deliver software modules and components meeting the requirements, quality standards, and timelines.

You're the right fit if:
  • You've acquired minimal experience testing (functionally and automated) complex solutions.
  • Your skills include CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps, GitHub, Cloud services, (AWS or Azure)a plus; being detail oriented with demonstrated ability to understand and assess a complex software application or scenario with particular focus on the development and execution of comprehensive test scripts or protocols and defect (failure mode) detection.
  • You have a Bachelor's degree, required or Master's degree in computer science or related field.
  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.

Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company's facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company's main facilities, generally at the customers' or suppliers' locations.

Philips Transparency Details
The pay range for this position in Cambridge, MA is $99,000 to $158,000.00.
The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered. Employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive Philips Total Rewards benefits program, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more.
