What engineers make $300,000 a year?

Senior software engineers, especially those with expertise in high-demand areas like machine learning, cloud computing, or cybersecurity, can earn $300,000 or more annually. These roles often require advanced skills, extensive experience, and sometimes leadership responsibilities or specialized certifications.

Do entry-level software jobs even exist anymore?

Entry-level software roles, including positions like software reverse engineer, still exist and are common in the tech industry. These jobs typically require foundational programming skills, knowledge of debugging tools, and often offer training or mentorship for new graduates or those transitioning into software development. Opportunities are available across various companies and often require certifications or familiarity with programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java.

Will AI replace reverse engineering?

AI can assist reverse engineers by automating tasks like code analysis and malware detection, but it is unlikely to fully replace the role. Entry level software reverse engineers rely on understanding complex systems, critical thinking, and manual analysis, which AI tools currently support but do not fully replace. Developing skills in reverse engineering tools and techniques remains essential in this evolving field.
