Job description

Software Quality Assurance Analyst (QA Analyst)
Location: Panama City, FL (local candidates strongly preferred)

About PSA

PSA is the creator of CMPRO, a longstanding configuration and data‐management solution used across defense and aerospace programs. We support mission‐critical environments where accuracy, integrity, and reliability matter. As part of our team, you’ll help ensure our software continues to meet the highest standards of quality, consistency, and performance for customers who rely on CMPRO every day.

About the Role

We are seeking a detail‐driven Software Quality Assurance Analyst to support software evaluation, testing activities, and quality processes across our CMPRO product. This role is ideal for someone who values precision, thoroughness, and collaborative problem‐solving. You will work closely with our Support and Implementation teams to ensure new features, updates, and customer‐facing materials meet PSA’s quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform software evaluation and testing of CMPRO updates, enhancements, and new features
  • Assist the CMPRO Support team when needed, including troubleshooting issues and validating reported issues
  • Provide secondary CMPRO support as part of a shared responsibility between the Support, Implementation and Software Development teams
  • Assist CMPRO SMEs with documentation, training materials, and internal knowledge updates
  • Participate in the review and maintenance of the CMPRO Change Instruction process

Qualifications

  • Applicants must meet eligibility requirements for obtaining a U.S. Government Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required).
  • Experience in software testing, quality assurance, or a related technical support role
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to identify, document, and track software issues
  • High attention to detail with a commitment to thorough, accurate work
  • Strong communication skills and comfort working within a collaborative team
  • Ability to work onsite or commute to Panama City, FL
  • Familiarity with structured testing processes, documentation, or software quality tools is a plus

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with automated testing
  • Experience using CMPRO or familiarity with CMPRO workflows is highly desirable
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Experience with defense, aerospace, or government‐related software environments
  • Comfort working with technical documentation or structured process guides
  • Prior experience supporting or testing enterprise software systems
  • Basic understanding of configuration or data management workflows

Why Join PSA

You’ll be part of a small, supportive, and highly collaborative team where your work has a meaningful and visible impact. At PSA, people enjoy working together, and we prioritize a relaxed, productive environment without unnecessary bureaucracy.

What makes our environment stand out:

  • Close, collaborative culture — small enough that everyone communicates openly and supports each other
  • Comfortable workspace — full kitchen, onsite amenities, and a layout designed for focused work
  • Flexible schedule — this role is fully onsite, but we don’t operate on rigid start and stop times. Need to come in a bit earlier or later? Have a mid‐day school pickup, doctor appointment, or need a longer lunch? No problem. If you’re reliably covering 30-40 hours per week, we trust you to structure your day in a way that works for both you and the team
  • Real ownership — your work directly strengthens CMPRO’s quality, reliability, and customer experience
  • Stable mission, long-term impact — PSA has supported defense and aerospace programs for decades, and your work helps sustain that mission
