Job Description:

GENERAL DESCRIPTION 

As a Quality Assurance Analyst, you're responsible for continuously improving the quality of the company's product line by preventing, quickly detecting, and validating product and process defects, to deliver market and customer driven business results. 

You will participate in the core development process as both a consumer and a supplier of artifacts to ensure the delivery of quality software applications. 

You will evaluate the test results, prepare change requests and generate measures to assess the product quality. Measurement will include code and requirement coverage, cost/coverage tradeoffs, and defect management to quantify the progress and identify risks with the associated test execution statistics. 

In this role you will work with an integrated team of developers, product managers, product owners, and system analysts for test planning, test driven development, and product validation (white and black box testing, test automation, regression validation, and user acceptance story tests). 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

Production Support 

  • Analyze root cause of quality deficiencies and ensure proper corrective actions are implemented in a timely manner 
  • Plan, lead and facilitate the test activities for simultaneous projects in accordance with the project management and development/defect methodology. 

Other 

  • Any Quality Analyst I responsibilities needed for Production Support
  • QA Guidance & Standards 
  • Assist in the on-going evolution of company's software Quality Assurance best practices. 
  • Stay abreast of healthcare industry and QA discipline via self-study and training. 
  • Mentor, train and assist QA staff within their platform area of expertise.
