Job description
Due to recent retirements and company growth, we are seeking qualified Master Electricians to join our team.
The Master Electrician is responsible for installation, start up, and shut down of equipment; troubleshoot and repair of electrical equipment. This role will require a thorough knowledge of electrical and mechanical theories and principles, writing specifications, local and national electrical codes, principles of operation and application of electrical equipment, and is responsible for leading electrical installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial electrical systems, machinery, and infrastructure to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Follow and comply with applicable good manufacturing, safety, and quality assurance practices.
- Lead troubleshooting and repair of complex electrical systems
- Oversee PLC programming
- Read blueprints, schematics, and diagrams
- Plan and implement preventative maintenance strategies
- Use specialized instruments to measure parts and ensure they meet specifications.
- Test the performance of electromechanical assemblies.
- Install electronic components using soldering equipment and hand tools.
- Analyze and record test results and prepare written documentation.
- Operate, test, and maintain robotic equipment.
- Mentor entry level and journeyman electricians
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
