ON.energy is seeking a detail-oriented Commissioning Administrator to support our field commissioning teams with documentation, data management, and administrative tasks across active data center projects. This role keeps our commissioning records accurate, organized, and audit-ready as work progresses across multiple buildings and data halls.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Export completed checklists and field data from our field data-capture systems and import them into our commissioning management platform, verifying that records transfer accurately and completely.
  • Maintain commissioning documentation, including checklists, test records, punch lists, and issue logs, ensuring version control and proper filing.
  • Track checklist completion status across equipment and reconcile discrepancies between platforms.
  • Support generation of progress reports and status summaries for project management and clients.
  • Assist with scheduling coordination, meeting notes, and distribution of commissioning deliverables.
  • Help organize and standardize templates, naming conventions, and folder structures for project records.
  • Coordinate with commissioning engineers and field technicians to chase down missing or incomplete documentation.
Qualifications
  • 0-2 years in administrative, document control, or project coordination roles, ideally in construction, MEP, or commissioning environments.
  • Strong computer skills, including comfort moving data between software platforms and working in Excel.
  • Experience with commissioning or project management software is a plus; willingness to learn is essential.
  • High attention to detail and a methodical approach to data accuracy.
  • Strong written communication and the ability to follow up persistently across teams.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment.
Preferred
  • Familiarity with commissioning processes for electrical or mechanical systems.
  • Experience supporting data center, mission-critical, or large-scale construction projects.
