Job Description This position requires onsite work at Aurora, CO and an active TS/SCI security Clearance. Candidates who do not hold this clearance are not eligible for hire. Solidus is seeking a mission-driven Software Engineer with an active TS/SCI clearance to join our Agile team in designing, developing, and maintaining critical software for next-generation satellite ground systems. In this role, you will build and scale high-reliability systems using Java and C++ across Red Hat Linux and Windows environments, while rapidly expanding your expertise in AWS web services, microservices architecture, and modern DevSecOps pipelines. If you have two years of experience, a STEM background, and a passion for spacecraft operations, flight dynamics, and secure cloud engineering, join us to help shape the future of aerospace technology. Day in the Life: * Design, develop, test, deliver, and maintain software for satellite ground systems
* Work with talented teams of engineers, architects, and leaders in an Agile environment
* Learn a breadth of advanced software technologies and techniques including multi tiered architectures, AWS web services, and microservice software design Modern DevSecOps and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery techniques Satellite ground system technologies including command and telemetry, flight dynamics, planning and scheduling, and spacecraft operations
* Other duties as assigned Required Qualifications & Experience: * Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
* Active and Current TS/SCI Clearance
* Cultural fit amongst a collaborative team environment
* 2+ years of relevant software engineering experience
* Experience developing software using Java and C++ Red Hat 8 Linux OS and Windows 2019 OS experience or similar experience
* Competency with Windows Server 2019 or equivalent operating systems
* Experience executing development tasks within an Agile sprint structure
* Basic comprehension of ground system components, command tracking, or telemetry architectures
* Exposure to automated testing, continuous integration, and continuous delivery pipelines Benefit selection, customer contractual specifications, relevant work experience, skills, competencies, certifications, and clearance status will influence the final salary.
