Job Title:Systems Engineer/Full Stack Web Developer

Position Summary

The Systems Engineer position will work within a software engineering team to develop and maintain new software applications. These systems include supplier tracking, manufacturing data collection and reporting solutions, and an integrated suite of people management software.

The role will include supporting legacy systems and migrating / consolidating them into a unified internal .NET website, which is integrated with ERP, HRIS, and other systems. If you want to work within an agile environment that focuses on applying best practices to solve complex business problems, this may be a good fit.

Position Responsibilities

The incumbent is expected to perform the following functions that the company has determined are essential to this position:

  • Develop new Online Transaction Processing (OLTP) applications and functions in ASP.Net.
  • Support existing features with a heavy emphasis on refactoring for reliability and maintenance reductions.
  • Support legacy systems, including FileMaker applications.
  • Design and implement technical solutions and optimizations.
  • Communicate with external stakeholders as needed during design, development and support.
  • Communicate closely with teammates and management to prevent and quickly resolve blockers, and to ensure alignment.
  • Other tasks and duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Abilities

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years writing software in a business environment.
  • Technical skills:
    • Net 10 framework
    • Entity Framework Core
    • MVC pattern
    • Creating and consuming web APIs
    • C#, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, T-SQL
    • Angular Framework
    • SQL, including data/database migrations and complex queries against large tables
    • Basic knowledge - PowerShell, Power BI
    • Git, CI/CD (Azure DevOps)
    • Unit testing
    • IIS
    • Basic knowledge, Active Directory/LDAP
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Continuous learner who adapts quickly to evolving technologies and requirements.

Travel Requirements
