Job description

Garver is seeking an entry level Drainage Project Engineer to complement our staff and join our growing Transportation Team in Lawrenceville, GA to continue the tradition of providing reputable service to our clients.
Responsibilities in this position will include:
  • Work alongside our dynamic team and be exposed to many aspects of drainage engineering including post-construction and construction stormwater management, stormwater drainage systems design, stormwater permitting, and H amp;H modeling bridges and culverts.
  • Prepare plans, specifications, cost estimates, reports, and calculations related to drainage, E amp;S Control, LID/GI, and Stormwater Control Measures (SCMs).
  • Receive real-world experience and training in industry-related software
  • The successful candidate will be a strong team player with a commitment to becoming a key member of this highly productive design team.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an ABET accredited program
  • Engineer in Training (EIT) or ability to become registered within 6 months
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office
Preferred Skills
  • 0 to 2 years relevant experience and/or prior internships
  • Experience with relevant software, including but not limited to, ArcGIS, Microstation, ORD, HydraCAD, Hydraflow, PondPack, StormCAD, Autodesk SSA, Bentley Storm and Sanitary, FlowMaster, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, and HY-8
