Denver, CO

$140,000–$175,000 + Top Benefits, Stock & 25% 401(k) Match

The Opportunity

You will perform cutting-edge research and development on real-time Software Defined Radio (SDR) and protocol processing systems within the Intelligence and Defense communities. Your work directly supports the collection, processing, and exploitation of RF signals across a wide range of wireless protocols. This role calls for an autonomous engineer who can move from modeling and proof-of-concept through prototype development to delivering operational systems.

Why You'll Love This Role
  • Compensation: $140K–$175K base salary with stock
  • Retirement: 25% 401(k) contribution
  • Benefits: Top-tier benefits package included
Your Day-to-Day
  • Design and develop engineering solutions to collect, process, and exploit RF signals using C/C++ and Python
  • Perform digital signal processing research including detection, estimation, and demodulation of communications signals
  • Build modeling techniques and proofs-of-concept, then evolve prototypes into fully operational systems
  • Work across real-time SDR and protocol processing platforms supporting defense and intelligence missions
  • Manage code and collaborate through version control tools such as Git
  • Communicate findings and system designs clearly through written documentation and verbal briefings
What We're Looking For

Required:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance
  • Experience developing solutions to collect, process, and exploit RF signals
  • Strong knowledge of digital communications — detection, estimation, and demodulation
  • Proven ability to develop models, prototypes, and operational systems end-to-end
  • Proficiency in C/C++ and Python
  • Systems development experience within the Intelligence and Defense communities
  • Familiarity with Git or equivalent code management tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • B.S. or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field (equivalent experience accepted)

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of Software Defined Radio (SDR) frameworks
  • XMIDAS familiarity
  • Geolocation theory and techniques
  • Experience working in complex RF environments
  • Knowledge of wireless air interface protocols
  • Experience with multi-threaded signal processing algorithms in Python/C++ on Linux
  • Comfortable working in distributed team environments
