Job description

Social Media Marketing Specialist

We are seeking a highly organized, creative, and hands-on Social Media Marketing Specialist to help support our growing brand presence across social media, podcast content, community outreach, and marketing initiatives.

This is an execution-focused role centered around content creation, social media management, brand consistency, and communication support. Leadership and external agency partners manage overall advertising and growth strategy, while this role helps bring the brand to life through daily content, storytelling, engagement, and coordination.

The ideal candidate is creative, dependable, comfortable moving quickly, and understands how modern brands communicate online. This person should enjoy creating content, editing videos, organizing campaigns, helping with events and outreach, and supporting multiple moving pieces across the organization.

Responsibilities:
• Manage day-to-day social media posting and scheduling across platforms
• Edit short-form videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube Shorts, and podcast clips
• Create and edit graphics, images, and branded content
• Assist with podcast production, promotion, clipping, and distribution
• Support community outreach initiatives, local partnerships, and events
• Coordinate with the external marketing and advertising agency
• Help organize reporting, campaign assets, and communication between teams
• Maintain brand consistency across social media and digital platforms
• Capture photo/video content at events, community activities, and internal initiatives
• Assist leadership with marketing-related projects and content execution
• Monitor engagement, comments, inboxes, and social interactions
• Help maintain content calendars and posting schedules
• Utilize AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Canva AI, and related platforms to improve content development, organization, and workflow efficiency

Preferred Skills:
• Experience managing social media for a business or brand
• Strong video editing skills using tools such as CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or similar platforms
• Experience with Canva or Adobe Creative Suite
• Comfortable using AI tools to assist with content creation and communication workflows
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and move quickly in a fast-paced environment
• Basic photography and videography instincts
• Understanding of current social media trends and platform behavior
• Professional, dependable, and team-oriented mindset

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating, organizing, storytelling, and helping brands stay active and connected online without needing to own a high-level marketing strategy or advertising direction.
