Position Description
The Harvard T. H. Chan School of Public Health's Department of Social and Behavioral Sciences and the Harvard Cancer Consortium Program invite applications for a joint post-doctoral fellowship in cancer prevention and control. The postdoctoral research fellowships, which begin in September 2027, are funded for two years and do not result in a degree. The program's objective is to train researchers in the design and evaluation of cancer prevention and control. Applicants may work in any area related to cancer prevention. Broad interests in cancer prevention are welcome, although we especially encourage applications in cancer-focused implementation science, global cancer, cancer health disparities, and health communications. Please note that this fellowship is funded by a federal grant and post-doctoral positions are funding dependent.

Basic Qualifications
Applicants must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
Applicants for the post-doctoral position should have a doctoral degree in the Social and Behavioral Sciences (e.g. sociology, psychology, economics); epidemiology; biostatistics; decision sciences; nutrition; nursing; genetics; education; or a degree in medicine or related fields.
Additional Qualifications
Evidence of strong training in cancer prevention-relevant topics and productivity appropriate for career level is highly desired.
