Entry Level Snapper Jobs (NOW HIRING)

Located in Bunnell/Palm Coast FL

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Landscape Equipment Mechanic. This is a year round job, not seasonal.

This is not an entry level position being offered.

The pay is a starting range with more for consistently exceeding performance goals, taking on added responsibilities, developing new, valuable skills, or receiving a promotion.

The Mechanic will be responsible for diagnosising, repairing and performing preventative maintenance on lawn and garden equipment.

Responsibilities:
– Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on a wide variety of landscape power equipment. This will include commercial mowers, 2 cycle equipment, pressure washers, generators, air compressors and more.
– Operate in a shop where an inventory of spare parts and supplies are maintained.
– Operate safely and maintain shop in a clean, orderly manner.

Requirements:
– A professional with a minimum of 2+ years repair experience with mowers, small engines, 2 cycle equipment.
– Must possess a strong mechanical skill-set including knowledge of basic electrical systems, hydraulic systems, mower technology and gasoline engines, Diesel not required but a plus.
- A team player with good communication abilities.
– Strong organization skills-strength in record keeping, shop cleanliness, inventory and parts ordering, desire to stay proactive and not reactive as it applies to preventative maintenance and repairs.
– Must have own basic tools, specialty tools provided. .
– Additional technical certifications a plus.
– Basic computer skills, a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

-Hours of operation Monday-Friday 7:45-5 and optional Saturdays 8-12

Compensation:
Flagler Power Equipment offers competitive compensation. Pay for 40 hours plus overtime. Paid holidays that we are closed. Paid personal (sick) time. Paid vacation.
